FRIENDS OF ALL SAINTS’ DOGMERSFIELD
Friends of All Saints’ Dogmersfield (FOASD) is a registered charity number 1103661, set up in 2004 and run by a group of Trustees from within the congregation and outside.
The aims of FOASD are to raise funds the restoration, preservation, repair, maintenance, improvement and beautification of All Saints’ Church, Dogmersfield and the churchyard belonging to the church and the monuments, fittings, fixtures, stained glass, furniture, ornaments and chattels of the church.
Why Give?
The charity reaches out beyond the weekly congregation of All Saints’ and its limited resources, to the community as a whole and to those who have particular reason to ensure the wellbeing of the church and its work among the people.
FOASD arranges regular and ad hoc events to support and raise money for All Saints’ Church. These include concerts, social events and carol singing round the village. See Church Events for the latest news of what is going on in Dogmersfield.
Make a Difference
Recent donations to All Saints’ Church have included £16,000 towards the purchase of the new organ in 2013 and in 2016 the purchase of a new sound system for the Church.
The next large item of expenditure for All Saints’ Church will be the extensive restoration and replacement of the external stonework. FOASD have collected a considerable sum to enable this work to proceed once the total sum required to complete the work has been raised, including a Heritage Lottery Fund grant application that has been submitted.
